Jeremiah Brent is a renowned interior designer, television personality, author, and founder of lifestyle brand Atrio and Jeremiah Brent Design (JBD), who has been recognized by Architectural Digest’s AD100 and Elle Decor's A-List as a leading design talent. This year, Jeremiah graces our Design & Art Advisory Council, and we asked him rapid-fire questions about exhibitors he is excited to see at Salon, how he would describe his own style, and more.

What exhibitors are you excited to see at the fair?
We’re always excited to discover new lamps, pendants, and sconces, whether they’re vintage or from a contemporary artist. It’s one of the most important layers within a space – we see lighting as art at Jeremiah Brent Design!
What's your favorite NYC museum?
While my family visits the Met on an (almost) monthly basis, we recently visited the Noguchi Museum with the whole design team. Located in Astoria, it’s the most intentional and well-curated experience. With indoor and outdoor sculptures, it’s such a peaceful space that beautifully reflects the work of Isamu Noguchi.
How would you describe your own style when it comes to interior design or decorating?
Our approach to design is all about storytelling. Every project is tailored to the client and their lifestyle, celebrating the juxtaposition of things that they love. I love leaning into conflict and crafting spaces that have a multitude of references.
Best design book / podcast / meme / blog / article you've consumed recently?
I recently rediscovered Eight European Artists by Felix Man that showcases renowned artists (Braque, Chagall, Léger, Le Corbusier, Matisse, Moore, Picasso, and Sutherland) at work in their studio. It’s been on our bookshelf for years – I find the effortless compilation of notes, photos, and art to be so inspiring.
What upcoming projects are you most excited about?
It’s hard to choose! Our days are full of some really amazing clients from coast to coast. The projects are a range of contemporary penthouses, rural retreats, commercial spaces, and historic residential homes...there’s nothing I love more than the challenge of creating a variety of timeless yet bespoke spaces.
